The Broadmoor
Hotel
Opened
in 1918, The Broadmoor Hotel and Resort in Colorado Springs has a long
history of providing the finest in accomodation, dining and resort-style
living. The first guests on the hotel register are John D. Rockefeller
Jr. and his party. The Broadmoor is a five-star resort that is spread
over 3,000 meticulously landscaped acres.
Amenities
The
hotel provides a full list of five-star amenities, averaging
two employees for every guest. Guest services include concierge, 24-hr.
room service, in-room massage, valet laundry, child care services, florist,
car rental, and many others. Resort activities include thee

Golf
& Tennis The three championship golf courses at The Broadmoor
were designed by master golf course architects Donald Ross, Robert Trent
Jones and Ed Seay of the Arnold Palmer organization.
The courses are the
Classic 18-hole East Course, with original design by Donald Ross and later
enhancements by Robert Trent Jones, the Challenging West Course, set higher
up on the mountainside, and the 9-hole Mountain Course, built right in
the shadow of Cheyenne Mountain.
The Broadmoor has
installed nine brand-new all-weather tennis courts, and its tennis facilities
have been ranked #1 by Tennis Resorts Online. The tennis program also
features a nationally-known tennis instruction camp overseen by U.S. Davis
Cup Captain and coach of Chris Evert Dennis Ralston.
